It's not easy being vegan. Oh, of course, it's quite easy to be VEGETARIAN being vegetarian is quite hip nowadays, especially when there are more and more celebrities and cult icons who seem to be joining the bandwagon. Of course, most of them are joining it to either lose weight/maintain their weight, or just to look like they're part of something bigger. We suspect that only a few of them are actually quite serious about not eating meat, reinforcing the idea that vegetarianism, and any of the other categories that come under this, is just a phase?"'. That being said, veganism requires a whole different level of dedication out of the people who practice this way of life strictly no product, edible or otherwise that even IMPLIES cruelty to and exploitation of animals must be used. Vegan recipes are shared between vegans, first within physical communities and later on in virtual communities such as those found in the world wide web a wonderful invention indeed, as the internet seems to be succeeding in supporting and consolidating vegans all over the globe. Perhaps by being on the internet and introducing the masses to delicious vegan recipes, more and more people will come to appreciate and understand what being a vegan is all about, and soon the world will learn to accommodate us.
